Bio
Joanna Gurin is a playwright, teaching artist, and arts activist. She has developed and facilitated workshops for participants in cities around the world, including New York, London, and Johannesburg. Joanna received her M.A. in Applied Theatre (Drama in Educational, Community and Social Contexts) from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Theatre and Performance at the CUNY Graduate Center and teaching at Brooklyn College.
