1. February 28: “Get the Writing Done” Workshop

Do you need to start writing but don’t know where to begin? Feeling paralyzed by imagined judgmental readers? Having trouble making time to fit writing into your life? This workshop will offer practical strategies for moving forward with your writing, including organizing your time, becoming unstuck in your writing, overcoming perfectionism, and dealing with procrastination.

It will be held on February 28 from 12:30pm to 2pm in room 9204. It will be led by Karen Starr, PhD, and Nicholas Fehertoi. You must register via the below form; you can also get a copy at the Wellness Center Student Counseling Services in room 6422.

2. March 6: On Healthcare and Resistance

There will be a discussion with Dr. Oliver Fein, MD from 12:30pm-2pm on March 6, to discuss both Trump and the GOP’s healthcare plans and advocacy for a single-payer program. See the below flyer for details. Make sure to preregister by emailing healthed@gc.cuny.edu.

3. March 8: Learning and Time Management Workshop

This workshop will provide you with an overview of principles for effective learning and time management based on the most up-to-date research. It will teach you how to apply these strategies in order to maximize study time, improve information retention and reduce procrastination and perfectionism.

It will be held on March 8 from 1pm to 2:30pm in room C205. It will be led by Kate Eiges, PhD, and Ravital Labua. Please register using the below form; you can also get a copy at the Wellness Center Student Counseling Services in room 6422.
