I’ve posted menus with some instructions on how to tweet feedback at Restaurant Associates via our “digital comment card” regarding food and services in the 8th floor dining hall and in the downstairs cafe, but here’s a reminder/guide to how to do it:

  • Tweet a brief note with your feedback (suggestions, concerns, likes, dislikes)
  • Use the hashtag #GCFoodback and direct your message at this Twitter account: @RA365CunyCafe. You also might tweet @cunydsc so you can get the word out to us about what’s working and not working for you in the dining hall.
  • If you do not receive response from @RA365CunyCafe, there are other RA accounts that will sometimes respond to feedback: @RACommissary and @RACorporate

I am working on getting the people who are in charge in the 8th floor dining hall/cafe to more actively use the @RA365CunyCafe account. In the meantime, this feedback is a good, concrete way to let them know what foods you really want to see on the menu, or what kinds of foods you want them to keep (because if they know something is in demand, they’re more likely to go to the trouble of making sure it’s there!). Here are some kinds of things you can tweet at them about:

  • Labeling and variety: if you have special dietary needs but are having trouble finding the labeling for food items, or if you are not finding those options in the dining hall, you can let them and the DSC know (for example, if you are vegan and are not finding those options in the cafe). On the other hand, if you ARE finding good labeling and variety, let them know to keep it up so they can keep you on as a customer.
  • Kinds of food: Are there food items that would/do draw you to the dining hall that you’d like them to keep up? Are there healthier options that you’d like to see? You can identify these in your message too.
