Feeling stressed? Balancing multiple roles and numerous responsibilities as a graduate student? As you attend to challenges in all realms of your life: academic, professional, familial, romantic and social often stress gets stored in your body.

This workshop will help you gain some immediate stress relief and become more mindful of how emotions manifest in the body.

Join us for a workshop where you will be guided in imagery and through simple movements. We will begin with a gentle movement exercise followed by discussion.

*No experience necessary.

*If you are uncomfortable sitting or moving on the carpeted floor please feel free to bring a mat or blanket.

Facilitated by: Keri Marcovici, pre doctoral fellow at the Wellness Center Student Counseling Services and Maggie Thom, movement, dance and certified yoga teacher.
