A week-long introduction to the Mohawk language open to both local Mohawks and non-Mohawks. The Mon-Fri sessions will begin in the late afternoon and go on until evening to allow people with a regular work schedule to attend. The week will culminate in a weekend activity at ELA and a small panel on revitalization programs in and around NYC with representatives from the Latvian, Circassian, Garifuna and Mohawk communities.
