The 44th Annual Urban Affairs Association Conference in San Antonio, TX represented a culmination of much of the work HERG has been engaged with over the past year and a half.  Over half of the current team and one of its past members attended the conference contributing to lively and enthusiastic conversations around affordable housing, lower income homeownership, shared equity housing, and the potential role of community land trusts.

[I propose we add references and brief discussion of talks – in my case I would add abstract – and maybe a tidbit about the push for us to (re)consider the extent to which CLTs should be envisioned as contributing to the re-imagining of community possible selves and the real concerns around the risk of increased burden on these households.]
