My research amplifies histories and contemporary examples of solidarity and kinship among historically dispossessed communities. I am interested in how deepening understandings of difference and complicity can help to more meaningfully work collectively to dismantle oppressive and divisive structures. As part of this larger project, my dissertation uplifts and seeks to further develop frameworks and praxes for migrant justice that aims toward collective liberation, evading deservingness logics to instead strengthen affinities with (the deeply intertwined) Indigenous and Black liberation struggles and beyond.
