Our research team has been working on a project on how a resilient neighborhood-based mobility hub will be created in the Rockaways Peninsula, New York City. This is an interdisciplinary research, consisting of three professors from City Tech (architecture, sociology, and civil engineering), partnered with Stantec (industry partner), NYCHA, and community organizations.
I am a community-engagement scholar who focuses on the community reachout. We completed (preliminary) survey in Phase I, and plan to do in-depth interviews for the future research.
