Putting Climate in Context

This year’s Climate in Context conference at the Grad Center was a rousing success. Nearly twice as many participants and some really good discussions. There are people doing really interesting research at CUNY!On the personal side, my presentation went OK. Putting all of the information into 12-14 minutes is certainly a challenge, and I probably should have tailored this presentation to a more general audience rather than updating my more specialized AGU presentation. Of course, the most important thing right now is writing Chapter 1/Article 1 (which is The Big One – no, really, that’s what we call it!) and getting that right. It’s getting there, slowly.

Of course, being sick these last 2 weeks has not helped, nor has trying to ignore being sick. The former just slowed me down. The latter got me pneumonia. Excellent. Grumble.

I was asked by everyone when I was defending. June. That’s the plan. We’ll see how that works out.
