The purpose of this organization shall be: a) To provide the Graduate Center with an inter-disciplinary forum for research, dialogue, and networking related to scholarly and professional pursuits on the criminal justice system and prison related subjects. b) To support and coordinate research and publication on the criminal justice system and prison related subjects among students at the Graduate Center and other CUNY colleges. c) To encourage stronger ties on criminal justice system and prison related issues among students and faculty at the Graduate Center. d) To build a network of students and faculty interested in criminal justice system and prison related subjects at the Graduate Center to facilitate the sharing of information and ideas.
