Agenda

This workshop will cover:
  • Overview of the issues Justice For All has been organizing around – pertaining to NYCHA, housing and homelessness, jobs, small business, transit
  • How you can have a say in the future of your neighborhood.
    • Here we will cover city-led and community-based channels of participation.
    • This section will also include an introduction to giving public testimony – which is, whether are rallies or a public hearing, often how we as individuals can share our perspectives on planning decisions.

At the end, JFAC will share the community platform we have been developing over the last year. We will share information about our process – how we came to the positions we did – and how you can be involved in reviewing it more closely and giving feedback.

The workshop will conclude with a performance by a local youth group associated with the All Stars Talent Show Network.

We will also have food, refreshments, good company, and more youth performances to follow the workshop.
