Amanda Presswood: Inclusivity and professional development of graduate students is something that I feel very passionate about. This past year I have had the pleasure of being the Co-chair of the Antiracist Assessment Taskforce and have greatly enjoyed the working with the members one my committee to ensure that WPA-GO is promoting pedagogical approaches that are inclusive to all students. At Florida State, I am also a part of the composition committee. As part of this committee I worked to compile a list of resources for fellow graduate students about working with students for whom English in not their first language. Much of the work that I do focuses on making the composition classroom and inclusive and welcoming place for all students. As part of the Graduate Committee I would continue to ensure that graduate students know that WPA-GO is an inclusive space for graduate students to continue their professional development.
