We are so pleased to announce that CSP doctoral student, Sonia A. Sánchez, has been selected as the recipient of the 2017-2018 Marilyn J. Gittell Dissertation Fellowship.

Sonia’s dissertation investigates how migrant justice organizers, working at the intersection of multiple struggles (including Indigenous sovereignty, prison abolitionist, and anti-racist), remember, practice, and imagine possibilities and challenges for building complex solidarities for a stronger social justice movement.
