I’m a doctoral student at City University of New York in the Critical Social and Personality Psychology program. My research interests include critical whiteness, inclusion and exclusion, immigration, othering, positionality, and narrative research. Currently, I explore these interests in my second year research project where I focus on how white German volunteers construct themselves in relationship to refugees. In addition to the interrogation of white German’s construction of others, I am committed to community building and envisioning possibilities of working together to dismantle oppressive systems.
