Survey of Spanish American TeatroHunter College
Este curso tiene como propósito estudiar el teatro de América Latina desde la época pre-colonial/colonial hasta hoy. Empezaremos con el teatro contemporáneo escrito por latino-americanos que viven en los Estados Unidos. Luego volveremos a la época colonial para descubrir las raíces de ese teatro. También leeremos el teatro de los siglos XIX y XX de una variedad de países de América Latina. Enfocaremos en la influencia de religión, política, y tradiciones culturales en el teatro.

Spanish Conversation IFashion Institute of Technology
This course focuses primarily on the development of verbal communication skills, however, basic listening, reading, writing and cultural material will also be covered. Students learn to converse in Spanish by emphasizing interaction in real-world situations. Functional and practical verbal communications are addressed, with a focus on the cultures where Spanish is spoken.

Spanish: Basic Language Skills I, II, IIIBrooklyn College
The objective of these courses is to give students a communicative introduction to oral and written Spanish. To do so, students are required to actively participate in class and to prepare very carefully all given assignments and by using the textbook, workbook and any and all other materials given out in class. Emphasis is placed on the four language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, as well as on the cultures of people in Spanish-Speaking countries. Classes will be conducted primarily in Spanish.

Literature, Ethnicity, and ImmigrationBrooklyn College
This course explores of ways in which ethnicity, migration, and immigration are represented in literature. Development of students’ understanding of aesthetics of literature and acquaintance with new approaches to reading. Topics include literary conceptions of national belonging, ethnic identity, home and family, immigration, memory, and diaspora. This course will deal with Latin American literature and culture, specifically that of Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico and their relation to and with the United States.

Spanish I-IVTimberlane Regional High School, NH
In these courses, students learn the Spanish language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing with an emphasis on Spanish-speaking cultures. Each course progresses from the previous levels. In the upper levels (III and IV) there is a literary component as well.
