From self-taught beginnings, to public school student musicianship, to both throughout and beyond undergrad, I’ve been playing drums/percussion for over 15 years in a variety of settings. One of the most rewarding aspects of my post-BA gap year was the decision to take myself a bit more seriously when it came to becoming a working musician.

I’ve been fortunate enough to find work as 1) Party Percussionist, 2) Pit Orchestra Drummer, 2) Accompanist, 3) Private Instructor, and 4) Session Recorder. Given the innumerable people I’ve met (like my brother) whose identities are inextricable from the label “Musician,” I was reluctant to stake a similar claim. But, it truly has become a dimension to my method of thinking/being in the world that’s worth embracing, so here it is!
