About

Hi, I’m Anna Alexis Larsson. I teach college writing courses with science, technology and society that invite students to contemplate our changing world and the networked narratives and relations shaping our futures. I research writing and wellbeing through the lens of a posthumanist reappraisal of Gregory Bateson’s groundbreaking interdisciplinary ecological theories of learning. Along the way, I write about nonhuman animals and intersubjectivity, transnational rhetoric and twitter bots, feminist new materialism and critical university studies. The Graduate Center, CUNY. My web application won a PDIG and is featured on the fellows page of the New Media Lab. At LaGuardia Community College I consult and facilitate faculty in writing instruction and I research faculty attitudes about college writing while serving my third term as a Writing Across the Curriculum fellow.
