At our Fall 2017 event, OpenCUNY organized the event as a gallery displaying the breadth and quality of the work taking place on the platform. We understand that with so many events taking place around the Graduate Center, it is difficult to make any and all events there as so we wanted to also digitize the gallery, so those of you who weren’t able to join us can catch up on the interesting work on OpenCUNY, and those of you were were able to, could revisit some of the sites you saw at our event.

Our rationale behind showcasing this work is two-fold:

Knowing what other students at the GC are doing can be inspiring – helping us realize projects we want to pursue, or collaborations that should be pursued.
Seeing how other students have organized their sites (i.e. what menu items, what information do they include, how do they organize that information on their sites, etc) can help generate ideas about organizing out own sites.

With this in mind, we invite you to take a ‘walk’ through our virtual gallery. In scrolling down the list, we encourage you to further investigate by clicking on the site image to go directly to the site and peruse more closely. As always, feel free to reach out to us for assistance, as we hope this will spark ideas for you about your own work and sites on OpenCUNY.
