Join William Mangold, Adjunct Professor of Interior Design, for a talk introducing his book The People, Place, and Space Reader. The book brings together the writings of scholars from a variety of fields to make sense of the ways we shape and inhabit our world. An essential resource for students of urban studies, geography, design, sociology, and anyone with an interest in the environment, this volume presents the most dynamic and critical understanding of space and place available.

Student Agnes Pletnia will serve as discussant, facilitating a discussion of the book.

William has been on the Pratt faculty since 2007 and maintains a design practice in Philadelphia. He can be found at wmangold.org

Sponsored by the Interior Design Program at Pratt Institute.
