The year I began teaching at Queens College – the 2nd semester I taught – I signed up to blog for the Teaching Circle, an experimental project of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Queens College, which aimed to create “a virtual space for faculty to share concerns on scholarship and pedagogy”. In particular, it aims to capture the voices of adjuncts. So, in exchange for an IPad Mini, I composed a series of 3 posts for them (in addition to an introductory post).

Though a bit rough around the edges, these posts were a critical part of my thinking through and engaging with my pedagogy and writing for a public audience. Interestingly, some of these posts got some good feedback and discussion – so I encourage you to read on!
