Public Science Project’s research on LGBTQ and GNC young people featured in Rewire

An article published in Rewire, Why Justice for Queer and Trans Youth Goes Beyond Bathrooms, features the work of students, faculty, and community researchers from the Public Science Project who have been researching issues of structural justice for queer and GNC youth of color in New York City and across the country.

PSP Director Maria Torre is interviewed in the article, discussing the PAR project What’s Your Issue, and CSP student Jennifer Chmielewski speaks about her work with Kimberly Belmonte, Dr. Brett Stoudt and Dr. Michelle Fine, on their research on discipline disparities for queer and GNC adolescent girls of color.
