PSC CUNY Environmental Justice Awards

The Professional Staff Congress – CUNY Union represents 22,000 faculty and staff at CUNY and is a regular supporter of the efforts of the Nature Ecology & Society Network. The PSC is please to announce the Third Annual Environmental Justice Award Winners.

  • We Are In This Together Award for an individual/group whose research and work strives to involve community action

  • Environmental Justice Award for an individual/group whose work promotes the values of environmental justice

Shannon Caravello (Kingsborough Community College) — Kissam Avenue: Sandy’s impact on a Wetland Community

  • Clearing the Air Award for an individual/group that best contributes to a better understanding of environmental or occupational health problems
