Exhibit: “Finding Mexican East Harlem”

After gathering visual, sound, text and oral historical data throughout the spring of 2013 the first exhibit of the MEHDA, titled “Finding Mexican East Harlem,” has been launched as a final project for the end of the Spring 2013 semester. For this exhibit I have used unstructured interviews (audio recording), soundscapes (Soundcloud), digital images (Flickr) and a growing bibliography (Zotero) relating to Mexicans in East Harlem and New York City.

Pick a location to explore daily life for the Mexican community of El Barrio/E. Harlem.
