TEACHING, FACULTY DEVELOPMENT, AND TUTORING EXPERIENCE

Macaulay Honors College Instructional Technology Fellow (August 2016-present)
I provide ongoing pedagogical guidance and technical support to faculty who would like to integrate technology-influenced projects into Macaulay Honors College seminars. I also build course sites for faculty using Macaulay’s Word Press install, ePortfolio, and offer support with structuring and facilitating writing and technology workshops for students.

Baruch College Center for Teaching and Learning Hybrid Seminar Coordinator (November 2015 – present)
In this role, I support faculty developing hybrid and online courses in assignment and syllabus design, exploring open educational resources, developing assessment practices, and selecting and deploying  online teaching tools. I also provide technical and pedagogical support for faculty using Baruch’s WordPress install, Blogs@Baruch, as well as a wide variety of other technological tools.

Cambridge Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) Teacher Trainer (July 2014 – present)
As a teacher trainer, I design and teach professional development workshops covering lesson planning, classroom management, phonology, skills acquisition (reading / listening / speaking / writing), pedagogical theory, and student-centered teaching methodologies and techniques to apprenticing teachers of English as a Second Language. I also provide lesson planning support and assessment through teacher observations and feedback sessions.

Wrote teacher development materials and developed a packet of classroom ideas for a team of volunteer English teachers teaching Younger Learners in a summer enrichment program.
