About Me

This blog is a place where I write about things I’m reading, watching or thinking about.

I’m currently a Developmental Psychology doctoral candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center and a Writing Fellow at Baruch College. My interest in psychology stems from five years teaching in high needs public schools in San Francisco and New York and briefly in the San village of Tsumkwe, Namibia (where a friend blogged our experiences). My recent work focuses on the intersection of technology and education with a particular emphasis on expressive writing in digital contexts. I’m also the editor of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (APA division 2) Graduate Student Teaching Association (GSTA) blog.

These days if I’m not reading or writing I spend my time hanging with my wife or walking our dog.
