About me
Sociology of the Body – Science and Technology Studies – Critical War Studies. My emphasis is on the cultural aspects of socio-political violence and militarism, as well as the influence of the military on the selection of scientific problems and technology development. I am presently writing my dissertation and conducting field research that explores embodiment issues in connection with medical practices and prosthetic technology development as they apply to the lived body within the context of war.
