About me

I grew up in Germany, and earned my Diplom (MA) in Social Science from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My research deals with East-German identity after the German reunification in 1989, as well as issues of critique, subculture, and censorship in the German Democratic Republic. In 2010 , I began teaching as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at City College, CUNY. In 2012 I started teaching as an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Professional Studies, CUNY.
