I’m interested in immigration, especially from Latin America and the Caribbean, socioeconomic inequality, Latino studies, race and ethnicity, the construction of in-group/out-group boundaries, community and urban studies, ethnographic and qualitative methods, and immigrant economic and social incorporation.
