Beyond the Blog: Making Your (Digital) Teaching Portfolio

April 25, 2014 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

How can you connect your pedagogy to your digital presence?

What is a Teaching Portfolio?

How can you use digital tools to enhance your teaching portfolio?

Join OpenCUNY, the Mina Rees librarians, and fellow students and OpenCUNY participants to think about and discuss what it means to look “beyond the blog” and consider all the many ways we can digitally represent ourselves online. At the next event in the “Beyond the Blog Series” we will focus on creating and maintaining a teaching portfolio. We will be joined by Julia Jordan, a faculty member and acting director of the Faculty Commons at City Tech . Julia organizes a bi-yearly, four-day conference on teaching portfolios for faculty members at her institution and so we are looking forward to the opportunity to learn and discuss with her.

When? Friday, April 25th, 4-6pm

Where? The Graduate Center, Room 7209

Hosted by OpenCUNY, The Graduate Center Office of Career Planning and Professional Development, and the GC Mina Rees Librarians
