Please join us after the workshop for a reception to celebrate the end of the semester!

City College’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders is working in rural Honduras to bring fresh water to small villages. The two chapter leaders, mechanical engineering major Joanna Bonfiglio, and civil engineering major Svetlana Fisher gave a presentation on their work to a water issues panel for Rotary International Day held at the United Nations. Their next initiative is focused on creating a ventilation solution for the community’s wood-burning mud brick stoves. Read more from CUNY.
